Help with website business...Please.

Hello there

I am contemplating setting up a website biz. I will explain my thoughts and any advice / opinions would be much appreciated...

I thought this idea would be viable because there is no physical retail shop within my city that sells this particular product, my research shows it shouldn't do too bad on the local scene...I would also hope to make sales from elsewhere in my country....

NOW...I have found a source where i can buy the product from the US at wholesale prices and hope to sell at retail...

What i am wanting to know is can i make this work without having any physical stock???

How would you go about setting this up??

Sure, you could make this work without having any physical stock. If you do not want to have physical stock you would have to deal with a wholesale company or drop ship company that is willing to send their products to your customers for you.
Basically, someone would place an order for the item on your website, you would forward the order to your supplier and they will charge you for the order and send it out to your customer.
Some companies will allow for blind dropshipping to your customers so that it appears as if the item is being shipped from your company.
Just make sure you are dealing with a reputable company, there is room for a profit and you should be fine.

Hi also agree with kimbeckers you can start you business without any physical stock . You just need to arrange products when your customers require. Always try to provide good quality products to your customers.
