I started a promotions company.It involves promoting bands and djs in the liverpool area. Ive been getting acts from all over the country to play my night.I have had three nights but i have lost a lot of money. It hasnt been an improved amount of people coming in just the same amount of people coming in every time. Will it just continue in the same vein with spiralling debts and i should cut my losses or possibly get sponsorship and save some more money up and keep it going in september when i will have had the experience of doing it. I beleive their is a market it for it but its been difficult at the moment. All the music is fine but getting the people in is the problem. Its on a friday night which i could make my own with the main competition putting their prices up to £8 when mine is good value at £5. Have you got any ideas to make it better or advice saying to leave it.Also if it does return would it be advisable to have it every three weeks.Is that enough time to promote it and also all the students come back about september in liverpool which is my main target audience.
