    Help with my business

This is my first post on YE but I found it yesterday and fell in love with it.

Im an 18 year old student and I own my own sports photography business (http://www.mysportphotos.com) It is rather successful considering I really only do it part time.

    Heres my question:

I travel to youth sporting events and take pictures, so im looking for ways to increase my sales on these trips. Currently I do photography and sell sports equipment and I just purchased a tshirt press and am currently selling tshirts with stock transfers.

My next idea was to get a sno cone cart or trailer and sell those too. I chose sno cones because most of my events are in the summer and outdoors and the cost of a sno can stand from my understanding is about $5000.

I need to get a loan for this but from past experiences have been unable to basically because of my age. Can someone tell me what Im doing wrong about this loan? What kind should I be trying to get?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Ok, your question is about managing financier expectations.

Essentially, to get loans approved, you need to have a good understanding of what bankers expect in comparison to other financiers (otherwise how else would you know!). Once you understand what they want - you'll say things they want to hear and close deals.

    Here's the paper:

WHAT DO INVESTORS LOOK FOR IN A BUSINESS PLAN? A COMPARISON OF
BANKERS, VENTURE CAPITALISTS AND BUSINESS ANGELS

    http://daniel.hotblog.com.au/images/...ankers_vcs.pdf

(taken from What do Investors Expect?)

after you understand this basic info, you gotta figure out how to scheme, persuade, strategise, manage downside and a bunch of other things - then you'll be in a position to differentiate between different available options.
