    help with export business..

I'm having some trouble finding information about exporting products (mostly electronics). I am from Argentina but I live in the States, and I'm interested in exporting PS3s, Digital Cameras, Ipods, etc to Argentina. If anyone can help me out, at least to tell me where to start I'd really appreciate it. I know there are some specific rules/laws for each country, but for some reason i cant find any info. Thanks a lot,
    S.

Get with a freight forwarder and go over the products you're shipping/exporting, quantity, schedule, budget, etc...

Most of the bigger forwarders have their own in house customs brokers around the US and major International ports and/or have an affiliated forwarder/brokerage firm they will work to ensure your products get to where they need to be. Unless you end up becoming involved with the specifics of the brokerage/other, by using any major forwarding company, it should all seem like one big smooth operation.

    Make sense?

Start sending some e-mails out and see what you can get...

I've personally worked with U-Freight a bit for US to Canada/China/Hong Kong/Taiwan to US shipments (air, truck and container load quotes/shipping/brokerage)...

    www.ufreight.com

Also, always check in to see if you can simply use a regular currier if you're shipping smaller quantities of product...it's generally a lot cheaper then having a forwarder take care of the shipping. Maybe drop UPS/FedEx/DHL/etc a line and see what they can do for your products/destination/etc...those bigger couriers also have their own in house customs brokers and should be a bit cheaper on the fees for the most part.

Oh and check out Argentina’s tarrif/import/export regulations...

I know you can google for US and Canada’s regulations...should be able to find something on Argentina as well.
