    HELP on opening a "FOOD TO GO" shop.

    Can anybody help me in giving ideas, instruction (directions..) on my plan?
    I want to open a shop that makes Vietnamese food for people to come in buy it and leave . Im not gonna serve like restaurant but I want to be able to provide popular foods that they can't find unless they have to drive to New york or Philly to buy.
    I have to find a small shop because I dont have that much money.
    This is something that keep going in my head and I really want to do it. I have help from family at beginning and I think I will start to look for people to help me later on when everything goes on track.
    Please give me some advices on :
    paper work
    kitchen equipment
    supplies
    cashier
    tax
    ........or anything you think you can help.

    WOW! Thanks for the amazing post! It's very clear that you have an innovative idea on a traditional business but one of the things you have to keep in mind is that you have to market yourself like never before, like no one else. What that means is that, fine you have a physical location, you also need to engage the customers, people interested etc. using social media (facebook, twitter etc.). Use them to announce new dishes, new trends, new happenings at your store etc. Start small. Boot strap as they say it.     Instead of buying a store front why not buy a truck and convert it into a food truck. This way you would fulfill your goal of not having a sit down restaurant and the operating cost would be low.
