Help me out

Alright guys im new to all of this ive never owned a business before but i have to scratch the itch any and all advice opinions will be much appreciated. I'm sorta a sales kinda guy really money motivated but I dont like to work for other people. Ive found a few suppliers/manufacturers in china selling what I'm interested in at low prices in large numbers. I am certain i can sell these products to retailers nationwide I just don't know what papers i need to get and file to make this a legal company. Also I have no clue what its going to cost me. Somebody help me

Source a good accountant but you may have to pay. Also ask your relevant government department(s) for some info. Government info is usually free (in the UK anyway)

im thinking i want to form an LLC would filing articles of organization with secretary of state be my first step in this process?

As others have mentioned get yourself legal first. An LLC is good for some type of businesses. Are you looking at developing an import biz? I will tell you from FIRST hand experience you had better KNOW what you are doing or you can lose your shirt! I have a friend in the musical instrument biz and if he had not gone to China he would not be where he is today! The Orientals have a favorite saying: No problem. Every thing OK! That's when you worry!

yeah i would like to start importing. i worked with a guy a few guys for awhile they were bringing in tools and we were selling them off. i made great money and thats what sparked my interest
