Help getting my first Job!!
Hello guys,
I really dont know where else i can post my thread but i appreciate some help.
In brief, i was told that there will be an assessment followed by an interview.
The assessment goes like this: Candidates will be put into groups of four and will be given some paper with some kind of puzzle or problem for us to solve (and i was told it has nothing to do with what we studied in uni)
The purpose for this is that they want to see
A. How we voice our ideas
B. How we disagree with the ideas/solutions of others
C. Displaying leader ship and team work skills.
My question: What is the best way for me to communicate these points?
Your feedback is appreciated.
Thank you

A lot of these "out of the box" interviews want to see how you approach problems not necessarily if you actually get the right answer. I think what is important is that you take your time and give the questions some thought.
Let's say they ask you a question for which there is no way you could know the answer, don't just blurt out the answer.... try to show them how you came up with the answer.
Using an example, let's imagine the question is "how many TVs are there in Europe?" Nobody could possibly know that unless they just finished looking it up, but if you know something about Europe such as the population, you could answer as follows:
Given that there are about 700 million people in Europe and assuming that the average household has 2.5 people in it, we are looking at about 280 million households. If we further assume that there is an average of two TVs per household, then we can estimate the number of TVs in Europe to be 560 million.
