Help a college student who needs to interview an Entrepreneur

I am writing a paper on a possible career choice I would like to pursue upon graduation. It would be of great help if you could answer these interview questions with your honest input. Thanks in advance!

What do you do?

How do you spend your time during the day?

What caused you to get into this line of work?

What do they like the most/ least about their job?

What do you think someone going into this job needs to do or needs to have?

I sit in front of my computer and surf and type for 9-10 hours.

I was only just looking for a job. I never thought I'd be able to enjoy internet marketing, but I am!

"They" referring to me? What I like most is I get to learn new stuff and I get to share my stuff to other people, too. What I don't like is receiving lots of spam.

Common sense, computer background (even just the basics). Not much really.

Did this help?

Most of my days are as fallows:
9.30a-10a: Wakeup/Eat Breakfast.
10a -11a: Go over what I'm going to do for the day.
11a-12p :Reply to any emails we received for our sales department.
12p-1.45p: SEO and advertising.
1.45p-4p: Processing applications + a combination of the above.

Honestly, The money. I don't have a HS degree (although i did get a 1475 on the SAT) i was never into working for someone or doing something i didn't want to do (ie college) so i opened multiple business's. The other 2 are running on autopilot so i spend most of my time with formpay.

Most:
- The money
- Not having a boss
- Its easy (to me)

Least:
- Hard to get a home loan. Banks don't consider self-employment stable.
- dealing with every aspect of the business. (sometimes overwhelming)

Honestly its not for everyone. You have to be able to take big losses sometimes. one month you may bring in $30,000 then sometimes something happens and you end up in debt.

Have to be able to deal with rude customers sometimes.

You have to be able to make sometimes hard decisions such as layoffs.

I hope this helps, if you have any other questions just pm me.

EDIT: Also, im not sure if you only looking for "YE's"? I consider myself "young" but some on this forums may not.

What do you do? I am an Internet Entrepreneur and mentor to my team members.

How do you spend your time during the day?Playing golf in the morning and then marketing my product in the afternoon. In the evening I spend time with my son and then market some more before calling it a night.

What caused you to get into this line of work? I was tired of working for someone else and tired of not being able to spend more time with my son, because I am a single parent....which is why I wanted to get into working for myself. It allows me to provide a very nice life for him and allows me the free time to do whatever I want to do.

What do they like the most/ least about their job? I like the freedom and the income that I bring in. I also enjoy teaching others how to become successful once they join my team so that they may enjoy life as I do.

What do you think someone going into this job needs to do or needs to have? Initiative, willpower, and desire. Nothing in life is free and even working for yourself takes a lot of willpower or discipline, because you contstantly have to market yourself and generate your income. Basically, if you want it badly enough and are willing to put in the time to get what you want, you will succeed.

I hope this has helped you, feel free to PM me if you need any more help with your paper.
