Question Have you lost money online?

Hello all from Ryan In Idaho. It's great to be part of this forum I'm new here but have read many great threads so far.

So how would you rate the business that you run? I have tried several opportunities and have had more losses than gains. How many stars would you give your opportunity? 1-5 stars? check out www.rateyourbiz.net . You can give your biz a rating and let others give you feed back on what they think.

once again great to part of the crew

"We all want to be financially free, and we all know that the Internet is the place to do it."

does anyone get a totally bad vibe reading stuff like this, or is it just me?

...its like, i read this and feel like a shallow wealth creation groupie with multiple divorces, a steady prozac habit and the insistent day dreams of future wealth...so i can recline all day on a pile of money

    disgusting

So does that mean that you think that I am a sleasy sales man? or that you that you are sick of hearing about people who try to make extra money online? I made rateyourbiz.net so people could find out which stuff was hype and what stuff was real opportunities. I don't charge anyone to use the site. Why would I make people lose money when I hate that myself. If you could explain it a little more clearly to me it would help.

Thanks!! I amtrying to build a great resource for everyone to use I hope when people come to the site they add their biz op to the review system.and leave reviews on the different biz ops they have tried out.

I am trying to add more on the site but I work a full time job, remodling a house, rasing two small children, going to school full time and starting up a jewerly desing an manufacturing company.

oh, don't worry about that - it's just me being my stupid existential self

    great job you're doing

i always really liked the way they did http://gurudaq.com/

    look..I tell you something..

every month, in US alone - there's over 600k search engine queries for "business opportunity".

There's a lot of people looking for a list of these things, and a way to browse, discover and rank all of these biz opps.

A format like http://gurudaq.com/ because it's the most elegant way to solve your problem.

You're soliciting user generated content so people can find out about good biz opps. This is going to be hard because you're gonna need A LOT of money to generate sufficiently high volume of biz opps for people to have a useful experience with your site.

A faster, better approach to have a large amount of listed biz opps (and you need A LARGE amount because you're basically an affiliate for these biz opps) is to grab the same code as http://www.alexaholic.com/ and do charts of ALL biz opps on the Internet, using their Alexa rank trends as a proxy for popularity and trustworthiness.

Example: I come to your site. There is a chart like http://gurudaq.com/ which shows me the most popular biz opps on the net (popular = large decrease in Alexa rank)

This is a much quicker way for me to discover good biz opps compared to reading people's reviews...of which there won't be that many for me to discover sufficiently high number of opportunities.

Think about it...if you can execute what I'm saying to, you'll have a better product, and if you can figure out how to engineer virality into what you're offering - you're gonna become the largest affiliate marketer of biz opps and you're gonna make millions.

You're doing great so far! Just keep posting here and on other entrepreneur sites, and that will give you more people adding their businesses. And the more active businesses, the more hits you get, which will mean more advertising, etc, etc.. You get the picture. I sent in request for my company, so let me know what you think!

Thanks, I check it out and added you as a vendor now just suggest an Item by clicking here and give a detail of the unique opportunity that your biz offers. The way the system is set up Vendors are approved and then items(opportunites) can be added to the vendor.

    HAve a great day
