I was looking online for network marketing businesses like Xango and Herbal Life and I would like to know if anyone here has tried out these companies and actually made some time of money off of it?
Thanks.![]()

My aunt was trying to get me to do this. I don't think people will pay the high costs for the bottles of juice. I also don't really like MLM's, so I opted not to do it. My aunt makes her living doing it, but if you ask anyone who does it, they will obviously say they are doing well, hoping you will join...
I hear 'bout them all the time, what exactly is an MLM?

I also have been wondering about Xango for quite some time. I just can't decide.
I do agree the cost of the juice is a little rediculous.
BUT
It does taste good.
oh and I'd just like to add that I can purchase this Mangosteen fruit at just about any grocery store close to my home.
Well, I have been doing MLM for 7 years until I decided to stop last year. I changed few companies. I did it part time and full time.
My 2 cents humble opinion is MLM is not easy to do now. The product is pretty expensive compare to retail shop as the MLM company has to pay multi-level commission to the distributor. The payout is like 45 to 55% of the selling price. The MLM company also need to inccur all the operation cost inside. Besides that, they need to gain profit as well. Do remember that the training cost for its distributor is huge.
Example a product's selling price is US$100. US$50 pay to the distributor. $20 operating cost. $10 training and promotion costs. $10 profit. This means that the cost of the product is just $10. They need to mark up 10 times. Just imagine that we buy a product from MLM that costs $400, their cost price is just $40. In a way, it is not worth buying. And most of the time, they exaggerating their products. Sometimes, they said their products can cure cancers and even some say their products can cure AIDS. It doesn't make sense. If a product can cure cancer, WHO or most of the hospitals have used it. There is no way that the MLM company can get to sell it.
In terms of making money in MLM, I could said that it is pretty tough. Eventhough, there are successful people who earn more than millions a year but we can see the percentage of failure which is higher. Maybe I could say 1 out of 10000 able to earn money in MLM. Well, you might say that I am a pessimistic or a MLM failure. Let me tell you, there are many MLM failures and most of them switch from one MLM company to the others.
In a way, I can say that MLM is not easy to do. MLM can do but tough... in fact extreme tough.

MULTI LEVEL MARKETING aka pyramid scheme.....
Sometimes, they have a way to differentiate it. They said MLM provides good quality products whereas pyramid scheme don't. Then, they said that the compensation plan is different.Originally Posted by tbeer22
In fact, they are just trying to confuse people. MLM and pyramid scheme are more or less the same. Although, they are some differences.
Anyway,... there are also pros on MLM. I think we should not discourage people from doing MLM. They may become successful one day. We don't know.

I looked at Xango approximately 1 1/2 years ago. Like hustler mentioned previously I found the juice to be quite expensive. I also found the fruit avalable at a couple of produce markets in chinatown (Vancouver). It didn't seem like very good value. The compensation plan was very lucrative but I didn't feel comfortable marketing the product because of the high cost. Hope that helps.

i have never got into MLM/pryamid schemes and i never will most of them are scams.
to the original poster...if you are serious about joining an mlm company, do your research and find the best one. if you can find one with products that you believe in then it will make it a lot easier for you to talk to people about it. some mlm's are scams, like the bioperformance gas pills, but some are based on quality products.
does everybody make tons of money? no, but if you work hard enough at it and stick with it, it should pay off just like any other business.

TNI is basically one of the old guys in the industry, all the legacy positions are gone. I have a friend by the name of Cedrick Penn that just left to move on to another company. What I did was look for a new company that was unique, had a revolutionary product and a great compensation plan that will eventually become a old guy in the indusrty. PM me and I'll give you some more info.
