Green Business Billionaire -10 Years to Forbes Top 13 Rich List

saw an article about green business in China within Agriums news feed on Yahoo finance. According to Ted Turner, the new billionaires are going to be in the green business. He was dead on, as the case blow shows.

Green Business Billionaire - 10 Years to Forbes Top 13 Rich List

By now, there's no shortage of numbers attesting to China's remarkable economic ascent: Three decades of double-digit growth in GDP. An economy that by many measures ranks fourth in the world. And despite persistent poverty, spreading wealth.

More than 320,000 Chinese have assets of 10 million yuan ($1.46 million), according to a study by Bain & Co. and China Merchants Bank.

China had two dozen billionaires last year, Forbes China reports. Though down from its peak due to the plunge in stock values, that's up from 15 megarich in 2006.

Still, for most Westerners the emerging leaders of China's economy have remained faceless and unknown. But behind all those numbers are real people who have lived through decades of massive economic, social and political change. To help humanize China's economic story, IBD spoke with several leading business figures about their childhoods, education and careers. And about the old China of their youth and the transformative changes they've seen.

Green Market Will Earn Green For Those Smart Enough To See It

    Agreed,

Having been in the green arena for years, it was slow to grow for most, but finally, with all the recent exposure from Al Gore and Leonardo Dicaprio and many Hollywood set driving green cars, and Larry Hagman with his solar system, we are seeing progress.

Like all new industries, there has to be money to be made, and this is where we failed in U.S., no consistent commitment to any specific green technology, and now, with new admin, Chu just pulled funding for hydrogen, so once again, who paid gov. off to pull funding from the most promising of all green technologies?

Simply put, back in 70's oil embargo, a real wake up call for America, what did we do? Nothing, but talk, no action, and look where we all are now, more dependent on foreign oil then ever. Where will it end? If not for the small backyard variety inventors who are not being suplimented for funded by gov. corruption money, we would see no progress at all. All the BIG college grants have been wasted for we have not seen one advance in energy efficiency in decades, so talk about corruption and total waste of money, this is perfect example.

Then we have the ethanol scam, gov. subsidized at the tune of hundreds of millions, and what do we have, nothing. Now they are all going bankrupt which means all the hundreds of millions will add up to billions in lost taxpayer money. Just look at all the trillions being wasted and you will see how corrupt gov. really is. It is up to the small self funded inventors like myself to make the real breakthroughs, and soon this will become evident as we release a new hydrogen powered home generator system. If gov. can get off their butts and pass the Feed In Tariff (FIT) to support this industry, we will all be off foreign oil for good. Green will earn green for all who are first to market, so stay tuned.

    Success to all,
