    Got lucky - 500$ profit from t-shirt design :)

I designed and printed a t-shirt a while back... My mom threatened to kick me out of the house because of it. I decided to print it anyways. Sold out 50 t-shirts in 1 week. Paid 3$ per shirt, charged 15$, profited 500$. Anyone run printing/t-shirt company and would like to sell the shirt?

Who made the shirts for you for $3? Can you give the company or how did you just pay $3 to make them yourself? Are you trying to get somebody to sell them then give you a piece for using your design?

Where did you sell these t-shirts? How did you promote? I like the design. However, I am quite suprised that you only paid $3 per shirt. I would also like to know of this company.

Aleish : colin made his own way, even if the shirt was distasteful. Emo kids would jump all over this kind of thing...

he might say 'got lucky' but this dude has got his head screwed right on

I run concerts in my city. All ages shows where all the emo kids are at. I made enough from these shows to buy a 9k$ sound system. My biggest show sold out 1400 seats I've got promotion hookups around my city

I agree the shirt is distasteful, but shock value sells. Took me about 6 hours to draw, well worth it though.

Thanks for the props man. If he still did the printing for 3$ a shirt i'd hook you up for sure. He did it for me as a promo deal, i brought him business, he cut me a deal. The cheapest he'll go now is 5$ a shirt.
