    Google Image Results - How to use in SEO

    So I'm getting ready to start working with a client that has a modeling section to their site. The photos are original and their is decent content on the pages. The site is for a magazine that focuses on the music industry. I'd like to find a way to use the photos to drive traffic.

    Question- Does Google as a search engine tag photos based on the content of the page or the name of the file/domain location?

    Anyone know?

    Just incase you want to check in on those threads. I'm pretty interested as well, a potential client of mine may want a photo portfolio designed and this would be beneficial to her as well.

    I'm not an expert in coding myself so I'll just insert something worth the share.

    Here's efficient tips from Problogger then:

    How to Optimize Images for Google Image Search

    It's a bit old article but still, it works! I'm rereading it as well.

    Also, look for more about that post here:

    <img src="http://mysite.com/yellow_hot_air_balloon.jpg"
    width="220" height="212" alt="Yellow hot air balloon"
    title="Yellow hot air balloon" />

    use your keywords as a image alt tag for your website

    This is what I was looking for!!! Thanks Deon & CGM

    I'm going to be launching a site in August that will have the most creative photo editing and file sharing software anyone has ever seen. With that I need to have my optimization done correctly!

    I love it!!
