    Question Good Possible Opportunity

I may have an opportunity to work with someone who has a patented product to bring it to market. (It's patented in the UK and US, I live in the UK.) It's a boxing machine that's got some good feedback and the main market would be gyms/leisure centres. I have experience selling info products online and selling on eBay but this isn't something I've tried before.

Would it be better to just try and sell it myself through my own website and through direct mail or to get it into wholesale directories, on QVC, etc.? (I suppose what I'm asking is should I just try and sell it retail myself or sell it wholesale as well.) Bearing in mind I'll need to work out some sort of deal with the inventor of the product.

Could someone please offer some advice/point me to a good book/course that would help me in planning what I could do with it?

Have always found some helpful information online through Michael Senoff's hardtofindseminars.com. Just google his name or hardtofindseminars. I know he has some audio clips with interviews on how to price your product, selling to Wal-mart, as well as help with direct mail and cold-calling. A lot to choose from! Hope this helps

One downside to this idea already: the item sounds large (correct me if I'm wrong), and is going to cost you a fortune to ship. Something to keep in mind.
