Good Offline Marketing

Can anyone tell me of some effective off line marketing approaches to advertise my graphic design business? I have tried word of mouth, business cards (leave behinds). I am looking for new fresh ideas.

The best resource I've found for offline marketing is Amazon.com: Guerrilla Marketing Weapons: 100 Affordable Marketing Methods (Plume) (9780452265196): Jay Conrad Levinson: Books

If you only use 1/3 of the techniques in this book you're business will take off like a rocket.

I have both the audio book and hard copy.

Let me know how it goes.

I think you need to do something that people will tell their friends about. I know that you have tried word of mouth before. However, if you design something that gets noticed and is as Seth Godin would say "remarkable" you can get people to talk about you.

I don't think any business can make a long term impact with their marketing without word of mouth. If you double up your focus on this, you have a good chance of getting satisfactory results.

Sorry for not offering any new suggestions.
