Smile Good news. I'm getting an LLC!

An older brother of mine who already has an LLC is going to help me get my LLC. It costs only $50.00 in the state of AZ!

Realize that an "LLC" is only a piece of paper that sits in your lawyer's office and in a dusty file in your state capital.

It's what you do with it that's important... And considerably more complicated.

But congratulations, you know more than a lot of people do that make the mistake of filing as a sole propriatorship.

It's what I do with it? Well, of course I will use it to run a business.

Not sure what Arizona charges, but be careful when considering the total costs. Most states have a franchise tax for LLC's. Delaware's is a minimum $200 annually. So even though LLC's come off as being cheap, they aren't always as cheap as they appear.

^^ Actually, 25 cents is expressed as $0.25, not $.025.

Anyway, congrats YidBiz!! I can't remember if you've already shared, but what is your business going to do?
