If you are a ditch digger, hard work would certainly be most important.

If you want an internet business, education is paramount. You need computer, language and math skills. You also will have to do hard MENTAL WORK (thinking, analyzing, doing your tax returns) and physical work (hours at the computer....plus putting up with pain from the carpal tunnel you will probably develop).

The MOST IMPORTANT STRATEGIES For All START UP HOME BASED BUSINESS SUCCESS

    Good question,

The two most important words of advice are to do your due diligence first, research and narrow your search to recession proof businesses, then never quit, the number one reason most people fail.

    Success to all,

I couldn't have agreed with this post any more than it is.

I went through a hard time with a tight knit community and outright killed it.

Working at your passion. If you do, everything else is way easier. I've started a business that wasn't my passion and one that was. The one that is my passion seemed easy to start.

    My two tips:

    1. don't waste your time asking about two tips to become a successful person - it won't actually help you (it is called procrastination and is the biggest killer of entrepreneurship)
    2. 'just do it' - as in give things a go, you might fail the first time but that is how you learn and how you get even more ideas and gain experience
bonus tip: read tip 1 again because it is so true and it is the main thing many big entrepreneurs will tell you

As I said, most people will only come online and talk about how much they want to be in business, the fact is most will never actually try and that is the problem. You gain experience from doing things and having successes and even failures, that is what makes you a seasoned and skilled businessman/woman. It is a lot more useful that hearing a few 'tips' from other people who read the tips in a business book/blog, by one of the so many very moderately successful 'business gurus' nowdays

Ask questions and dont be average. All "well educated" men are hard workers. Not all hard workers are well educated... which would you like to be? A degree is only a piece of paper to those who dont use it right! And a degree is not the only way to be educated.

That is truly a great problem with me , I always sketch plans good plans better plans but never filled them with the color of hard work. I have wasted a lot of time , don't know how to get rid this.

Two tips right? you already have a clear aim to become a successful business, then what you need to do is No. one scan the outside environment and design your marketing strategy, No. Two, bear this in mind that plan is not a once for all staff, but the changing you need to consider at times. I'm new here and I need your feedback , Thank You!

    1. Solve an important problem

    2. Don't be afraid to re-adapt your business as you go along. Your first idea will almost never be optimal. If you listen to your customers' suggestions, they will tell you how to improve your product. Use their advice
