    Gift Card Vendor?

Hello, everyone has seen the convenience stores that sell Best Buy gift cards and several other stores gift cards in the 7-11's and grocery stores. What I need to know is, are they using a vendor to supply these other stores gift cards or do they deal with each store independently to supply thier cards. I have searched the net for a vendor/supplier of gift cards for other stores (Best Buy, etc), but cannot find one. All I can find are vendors that will make gift cards for my business, but my business would be to supply other companies gift cards (like the grocery stores do). Does anyone know if there is a vendor/supplier for this?

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Gift card vendors

    Hello Steve,

Wow- I was doing the same thing that you were by looking endlessly on the web to find out how to go about starting this gift card vendor business. I keep finding big distribution companies who distribute to many grocery chains, etc. I guess I just need to find a company who I can buy the cards through in bulk for a discounted price. Have you had any luck yet?

    I found one.

    Sara,

I didn't find one online, however I was in Blockbuster one day looking at thier gift card display and finally found a name. "Coinstar" You might have come across this one already based on your messsage. They do have a website coinstar.com, but I haven't contacted them. I have been extremely busy.

It sounds like you want to be a vendor like coinstar. I have a slightly different idea and need a vendor to buy cards from in small quantities (as needed) to sell with my products. "When" not "if" you start your business let me know, as I may need your services.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Steve,

Thanks for letting me know about Coinstar. I didn't come across that one so I will definitely check it out. I am so excited to do this business, I know if I can just get in touch with the right people to get the cards from that this will take-off and be a really good thing!! I'll keep you posted on how things go- and please keep me posted on your progress also.

Thanks and good luck to you,

    Sara
