Using craigslist for your advertising campaign will indeed help you in getting leads. All you have to do is to work hard to maintain your ad post since there are thousands of people who also post in craigslist - they are your competitors.

Plus, your post should be unique, or else craigslist will just consider it as spam and flag it.

Yup, what you are saying is correct. So far, I have generated tons of leads through craigslist for my work. If craigslist didn't exist, I probably would have gotten fired from my job.

I've used Craigslist to make a good number connections through their forums for my business. Its a bit time consuming going through all the posts and filtering out spam, but its free and lots of people use it.
