Genius Marketing or Uncalled For Stunt (video clip inside)

Okay so this is all over the internet, Bruno the alter ego of Borat and Ali G was half naked and landed on Eminems lap at the MTV video movie awards.

So seeing that both of these individuals have large projects coming out, do you guys think this was a giant stunt or a tasteless joke? Just by my posting this just shows how viral this video clip already has been and has potential to boost sales on either parties side.
