I need to raise some money for a website concept and I'm not sure how I would go about raising money. Any ideas?

You may want to try blogging and start from there. Look around in the discussions here and you might find some ideas that will appeal to you.

No, I'm trying to raise money to build the website My target frame is to start the website within a month or so but I need to raise $4000 in order to build it.

Its for a job posting website.

Well if you know a good amount of people that like to play poker, you can host a tournament or something and have them pay a host fee or something.

Why do you need to pay so much to build a website?

Because that is how much it will cost to hire someone of expertise to build a website of this magnitude and to pay for a SEO expert to market it.
