Please do not be fooled by advertising that promotes free government money or government grants for small businesses and startups. This is one of the biggest myths in todays business world and the people that advertise these are full of crap. The government only gives one grant and that is for research and developement for technology based products or services for the government. In general your business has to be benefitial to mankind. There are conmen out there that know this but offer services for a hefty price and promise big returns; ITS A LIE! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. The NATIONAL GRANT CONVENTION that hits up big cities with a seminar is one of those scams. They are ask for $1200.00 and will give you a book with all available grants out here(which you can get for free online) help filling out app(which you can do yourself) and professional support. SCAM! These guys know that 99% of these people will not get a government grant and are capitalizing off our stupidity. Do you really think our government has money to give us? Not even a dime. SBA will give a loan to a select few but nothing like they use to. Its up to us as entrepreneurs to overcome these conmen out there and support eachother to stimulate this economy and our future not the government. With some hard work and the grace of god anything is possible.

Depends what country government we are talking here about here
You can get 400 pounds in Northern Ireland for example if you will go thru business startup courses and write them a business plan which they accept.
