    frustrated as hell...HELP

Ok so I know my classified site [http://www.free4uclassifieds.com] is up against some pretty stiff competition here. Craig's, kijiji, but for some reason they stay away from the smaller markets. I have achieved #1 in Google for most of those forgotten markets, in fact I have no problem getting into the top 10 for even broader classified terms. But here is the dilemma. How do I let those smaller markets know I am there for them, without spending a fortune? Is my site user friendly? I think so.
    Any help would be appreciated.

And before I go. Link building like a mad whore, Rss, and blogs galore. Press released so much my fingers are bleeding. I need to get traffic up. What am i missing?

    Thanks in advance

To make it easier on the eyes and even more user friendly I would recommend getting an image of the USA divided by states. Link up each state and when a visitor clicks through then they can get the listings for the cities. It's unappealing as it is now, with all those links on your front page.

You can drive pretty cheap traffic with PPC. And, lots of it. It's also good for PR if you put it on the right sites.

A 70% average bounce rate is not a bad thing. That's about average for the industry. I'm sure that you'll see that some pages are much better than others.

    Thanks for the input though

Ok. So how are you differentiating yourself from e-bay or craigslist?

Both of those sites already fill the need and with the amount of traffic they get it is really tough to compete with them.

I would highly suggest that you focus on a targeted niche so you can serve your target market more efficiently.

EG...A place where car owners can sell car parts. Or A place where Fishermen can sell their old fishing gear.

Structure the site around one of your passions.

    What do you think?
