Free SEO for traffic

Hi everyone,
I wanted to know if there were any effective ways improve SEO to get more traffic for free.
My website is Free Financial, Economic and Stock Advice | Fiscal Frenzy it has meta tags, headers, good keyword density but even still i cant manage to get even close to the top on highly searched keywords or get very many hits.
If you could please give me advice about what im doing wrong in terms of design, SEO, content anything please do so...

Here is one of the BEST ways that I get INDEXED with Google with my keywords.

1. Open a Squidoo account and set up a lense there.

2. Open a Blogger blog on your topic.

You see Google LOVES Squidoo and watches them VERY closely.

Also do some videos and put them up on YouTube and GoogleVideo.

i mean probably gettting people to the site since im assuming if people come then the conversion rates and all will improve subsequently, but yes the main problem is getting ranked on google and getting traffic to my site

fwiw, I'm trying to make a sitemap since i've heard thats really effective, do any of you know what i should use for that aspect of the site, should i use google webmaster or the godaddy one or make it on my own? or something else?

hmmm, do squido pages actually improve SEO? ive never heard of that but ill try it out
