I am currently looking to start a new business. I have come across two that I am interested in and they approximately bring in the same amount of profits (according to the profit / loss statements I have). Same industry, one is a franchise and the other is privately owned. I see expansion possibilities with the privately owned but the franchise seems to be the safer investment. I am looking for people to help me with the pros and cons with both. Thanks in advance.

If your 100% sure your going to expand then i'd go private but otherwise the franchise is your best bet. The franchise will give you a better chance at success and a good model to build off of
