Found a great opportunity trading sugar

    Hi guys

So I was introduced to this guy who trades sugar as a middle man, mainly sugar from Brazil (icumsa 45) to India. He's also interested in Japan and since I know Japanese I was introduced to him.

Now, this guy is a big shot in the business, trading shiploads of many thousand tonnes of sugar so I was almost a bit overwhelmed.
He wanted me to see if I could locate any serious buyers of sugar form mainly India and Japan, but also other countries.

Since we've made a contract of sharing the profits 50/50 from the leads that I can get him, I am evrn prepared to pay a percentage of my profit for any advice that'll lead me to a serious buyer of sugar.

Anybody out there who has any interesting information about buyers of sugar who don't mind giving their two cents?

    My very best regards!

    Manuel

Why not just open a futures account and trades sugar at home? Much easier, and much less starting cost.

trading future are very very risky unless you hedge yourself perfectly. without hedging futures means you have unlimited downside risk

Thank you for taking the time to reply

Yes that is a good idea. The reason I opted for working with this guy is that he has knowledge and experiences in the business and at the moment I am not competent enough to seed the bonafide dealers from the less reputable ones

I must apologize for my poor English. I am not a native speaker and not familiar with the term "heading futures" what does it mean, if you don't mind clarifying it for me? =)
