For those that make money monetizing websites...

How often do you keep up/check your earnings? Daily? Weekly? Monthly?

If you work with multiple networks, do you aggregate your earnings and build reports for yourselves?

I'm looking for a good way to do the latter.

Cool Monetize Better With A Website Business Plan

I run several businesses on several websites and monetize them all using ad services, selling my own digital products and sending referrals to product specific stores that pay a commission. One of the services I offer includes business plans for monetizing ones website. If you have never tried building and monetizing a website or blog you would be amazed at how easy and cheap it is to do so. I recommend you read my short story and take the short course at Free Web Business Workshop - Is Session. It's free... No gimmicks and no need to sign up.

To answer your questions, I check my stats daily. Why?

    1. Sometimes web pages go down, get errors and need to be updated. Stats alert you to this problem.

    2. Ads often change and become less effective. Earnings Stats alert you to this problem

    3. Occasionally world and local news impact web traffic and point of sale. Knowing this can give you an edge as to what news or topics to feature on your site. Sense what your earn is the bottom line, the best way to test success is via earnings.

    4. New advertisers can impact earnings in many different ways. Checking your earnings can alert you to new advertisers and the amount of funds they are putting on ads. It gives you a heads-up as to whether to drop that advertiser or retain them.

    5. Real time earnings stats are the best way to go as you're more apt to remember what you did or did not do to earn more money on a day-to-day basis rather than week-to-week.

That said I suggest you consider using a well written business plan that outlines how best to monetize and market your website in order to see improved daily earnings.

Thanks for responding. Are you using any special services to aggregate your stats or are you just logging into whatever platforms they are to look up the numbers?
