Hey everyone, I have a quite broad question and for that I apologize. Recently, we have seen a surge of start-up companies striving for a piece of the mobile food ordering industry.

So the question: not that I am shooting to start one of these companies as well, but does anyone know how they work? More specifically, from text to the restaraunt, how is this process automated? I know the company must have a SMS short code, contracts with telecom companies, as well as countless other aspects, but how are they able to take a text message and create it to a full order automatically?

Is there some kind of software that each company has had to develop? I have been following companies like GoMobo, and MyTango curious to find out how that process works. I would love to team up with someone to make this work. We have a wonderful market place that is untapped.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
