Flipping cars for profit advice?

Hey guys, I am new to this forum. I am 20 years old and I am a college student that is tight on cash and want to help out my parents. I recently discvoered that people make money from buying cheap cars , fixing them if there is something wrong with it, then reselling it for profit. I am extremely interested in doing this because I love cars. But, the problem is I do not know anything about fixing cars nor do I know any mechanics. I would love to learn how to fix cars, but i cannot fit a mechanic class into my school schedule because that would take up half of the max units. Can somebody please give me some advice like where to find cheap cars? I would reallllly appreciate it. Thanks!!

Go to your local police impound yard, and find out when their auctions are. Also look on craigslist.
