Want to make a sign for the final but find cant anywhere that’s not too expensive. Does anyone have any ideas were we could go to get one made? Might have to resort to an old sheet and a paintbrush!!!

Sign shops will charge (depending on size) $100 - $250 for this. Only costs them maybe $15 in material, the rest is labor. I did sign making for 15 months.
If you are looking for an American flag, many other countries make them, and for dirt cheap. Cheap discount stores like Big Lots, Roses, etc. They are starting to bring out the Fourth of July products, and you can pick up like a 2 foot by 4 foot flag for like $19.99.
Lookup something like "digital sign creation" or the like. Also, any Kinko's (sorry, FedEx Office because FedEx doesn't understand the power of brands) or The UPS Store should be able to refer you to someone who can do this (and in some locations, they can do it for you themselves).
I've used vistaprint for stuff like this. It's dirt cheap, but the shipping is kind of slow and they'll try to get you to sign up for a ton of useless junk. So if you don't mind wading through that you can really save some money.
