    finding distributors, suppliers, etc.

Okay I have been running a decently successful small business for 3 years.

here is the problem that i am having, I researched and researched when i started to find a supplier.

3 years later, i want to expand, been so long since i actually reserached, i am quickly learning that google is not a good place to find a distirubotr, manufacturer, supplier.

here are a couple, hopefully simple, questions.

    first.

how do i successfully and decently quickly, find a distributors, etc. for anything.

rather i want to sell dvd's, tshirts, souvenirs, or anything. how do i find this information, i don't even know where to begin to look. And on top of that, when i find an international product, for example...an IPOD, so i locate distribution in America, how would i find over seas distribution?

And if i want something made, how do i go about that, rather it be through a Chinese manufacturer, or a American manufacturer?

Hopefully some good information will come of this, and it can help more then just me out.

It's not easy. It takes a lot of work. Start buy calling the companies of the products you would like to sell. Maybe someone can point you in the right direction for a distributor or start going to trade shows.
