    Fast/Casual Restaurant Investment

    Hey Everyone,

I was having a discussion with some people about investing in a restaurant idea. Not the type of "sit down" restaurant that immediately comes to mind, but rather a "fast casual" concept - like the Chipotle model.

I'm curious to hear top line thoughts on whether people prefer to steer clear from this type of industry all together, or if interested what kind of ROI one would expect.

I know restaurant tends to be a 4 letter word in the business investor world, but still wanted to see what the consensus was on this forum.

    Thanks!

Good question. I'm actually thinking about opening a fast food joint. Careful planning and knowing the market [and people] will determine whether investing in the industry would be beneficial.

I'm a newbie to this whole starting a business stuff, but I feel I will do well with my restaurant idea.
