Experience with Purchasing Insurance?
Hi,
I'm looking to start a small-scale business dealing with retail items I will sell online. I plan on starting as a sole proprietorship. In this way, I don't have to pay the $800 or so yearly fee for having an LLC. Also, I'll be running the operation by myself, so a sole proprietorship would be fine.

The only concern is with personal liability. Therefore, I would want to purchase liability coverage. The only concerns I would have for my product is that if a piece of the product breaks off, it could be a choking hazard for a child.

Therefore, I'm trying to see if I:
1) Need to purchase insurance?
2) Where I should purchase insurance?
3) How much it would cost?

Thoughts and opinions welcomed. Thanks.
