Entrepreneur Personalities

Hey Everyone,

Just wondering where all the entrepreneurs on this forum fit as far as personality. I wonder how much variation there is (other than, as Eric pointed out, we're all hustlers).

It tells you where you most fit, and then a few other categories that you show traits for. If you feel the survey has misplaced you, which category would you place yourself in?

http://3sc.environics.net/surveys/3sc/main/3sc.asp

I'll take it in a bit and post my results.

Well apparently I am a "Social Hedonists". I make money and spend money and I do not care about others. While I agree with some aspects of this survey, it was way to broad. At one point it asks a series of questions like:

I think young people should be taught to obey authority
OR
I think young people should not be taught to obey authority

Those are two extremes, where is the middle answer? I personally believe it depends on the situation.
Anyways, good luck everyone.

Brandon

Apparently I am an Autonomous Post-materialist

I also also have traits for the New Aquarians, Social Hedonist, and Security Seeking Ascetics.

Unfortunately that test is bull s*** - it doesn't give any good possible answers for entrepreneurs. You have to be a working stiff in a major industry just to get past the first 5 questions.

Apparently, my category is a Penis.

Oh wait, I think I've been taking the wrong test.

One problem I find with ANY online test is that people often answer what they *want* to be, not what they are. For example, a boring guy who wants to be funny will answer "I am funny", even if he makes Al Gore look like Seinfeld.

The categories are also VERY generalised. I mean social hedonists will steal money? That's a pretty wide assumption.

Finally, this is a Canadian-based test, so like Canadian money, its value isn't worth mentioning

In my opinion, www.peoplethatclick.com offers a better Entrepreneur Personality test.... but I dont really like any of these per say.

I like the keirsey sorter, I definitely prefer that to the test that I posted.

Apparently I'm an Idealist. What's everyone else?
