    eBay - Thoughts

I am a seller on ebay and have been for years, but recently I have been asked to sell for other people.
I was wondering if anyone can help me with charges. By this I mean what recommendations does anyone have about what percentage I should take out for myself. I will just be listing the item and taking care everything that goes on through ebay. The party I am selling for is going to take care of shipping and packaging.

I will be selling some items between $800 and $2000.
I know "i sold it on ebay" charges 35%, but that seems like an awful lot.
I was thinking 20% would be good, but I really wanted to hear some other input.

Another question...I will be selling these items at a different location. I am concerned about using my own ebay account if I am relying on this other party I am selling for to ship the item. Also, does anyone think I should simply make a new ebay account in order to not blemish my own and make this process easier.

    Thank you!!

When I've gotten asked to sale for others its either been a flat fee per sale or a percentage of 20%. If you are selling items that WILL sell between 800-2000 I would charge a flat fee of anywhere between $50-250. It seems like a lot but its in the 20% range and if they are willing to pay you that then you should just do it.
