If you were trying to sell a item on e-bay to try to earn some extra money what would it be..I guess what I am trying to say what is hot right now...

If only I knew...
There are some items that are always hot but it is unlikely you will get great prices on purchasing them yourself, like certain cell phones, ipods, designer clothing, etc.
There is always a niche product but easier said than done.
Are you looking for a quick buck or a long term business?

I would like something I could sell for the long haul. But I know how fast things come and go. I was able to get a wholesale price list because I have a LLC setup but I am not sure if there prices are all that great...

You could always determine which items are "hot" given the time of the year and set up a store that rotates the given products depending on the seasons. Of course your margins will take a hit from not buying in bulk or whatever you'd negotiate with the wholesaler or manufacturer, however, the extra demand would likely overcome that. Just a thought.
