earn money from small niche blog

I am now partnering with my bro to setup a series of small niche blogs (20-30 articles per blog), our target is to setup 100 blogs in 1 year and to earn USD1 from advertisement per day.

Do you think this idea is ridiculous or it can be achieved? Give us your comments, thanks.

One thing, to have a successful niche blog, you will need to really know and understand what it is you are talking about. Otherwise, people will not be interested in your point of view.

100 'NICHE' blogs in 1 year? That is 20-30 articles each 3-4 days... Why not put all your efforts into one or two, or maybe up to 5 blogs and see what earning you can get from that?

Yes, that is achievable if you are persistent enough in terms of effort.

However, I would agree with Will that instead of start a blog every few days, you should focus on lesser blogs. From my experience, money from niche blogs depends on search engine optimization. Thus, by building lesser blogs, you can spend more time on link building and marketing the blogs which will in turn get you targeted traffic.

You could start a blog about the process of up keeping 100 blogs. Write about the caffeinated products you use, review different drugs that allow you stay at full power for 20 hours a day, review different carpal tunnel treatment options etc.

In all seriousness though, what sort of topics are you thinking about?

the thing about niche blogs is that even if it is best blog written by someone who has alot of knowledge on the subject you are still limiting yourself to a pretty small group of people and as wayne said SEO is going to be the biggest factor and with so many "niches" SEO is going to be tough. It kinda sounds like you are going after quanity instead of quality which in some cases isn't necessarily a bad thing however you might have some serious issues cranking out enough "niche" blogs to generate a usuable amount of site-wide traffic since at some point quality will get low enough that people won't be interested.

you might think about going after 25 niche blogs that are all part of a "genre". it will make the SEO easier and grab a larger group of readers which are interested in sub catagories. for example you genre could be dating, with niche blogs on first dates, how not to get caught dating multiple people at once, best alcohol to serve to keep the night going, good date movies etc.... yea i had a pretty wild weekend so you can tell where my thoughts are at :-)

or the genre of cars with niche blogs talking about the latest news and reviews for each manufacturer. you start to get the idea but pick something you are generally interested in, when people write with passion about something you can really tell the difference.
