honestly, I would try to come up with a new .com that isn't registered.

But if you can't, I would definitely choose .net

I usually won't even click a link that ends in .biz, they have such a negative connotation to me.

It sounds like you have the right idea and thinking for picking a domain name. Its just a judgement call on your part.

If .com guy is a business or the like I wouldn't add plus or online on it or the like. You could get in trouble for that.

Ok so its parked. If it is at all possible I suggest trying to find a new .com ... A common tactic is to use the same address but put a - between 2 words in it.

If you really feel you cannot do that however, then yes go with .net

you have to really think of how most people will be getting to your website.

If most people are going to be typing in the url from something they see or from their memory, then you need to have the address be as easy as possible.

But if most of your traffic is coming from various links online, then you can be a little more lenient on the ease of the url.

You just want something that describes your business, short, and easy to remember. You have to find a median of all three.
