    dont know where to start!

i have interest in opening a hookah bar but i feel as if it may be a trend that may die soon. Basically idk if its worth the risk.

Another idea i have is to open a franchise but its very hard to decide on which franchise to open in seattle because i feel as everything is already here.

    what do you guys think?

    Hi,

I think the idea of HOOKAH bar is cool but i would suggest you to do proper research.
I have been to one and the thing that i liked the most was the "Royal seating" and the decoration.
Authenticity, quality and presentation is what matters when it comes to hospitality.

I would first do my research and see how the hookah business is doing exactly. Maybe talk to a few owners and the internet has almost anything you need just need to do your research

If you open a Hookah bar, make sure that your business can survive or adapt to other trends when the hookah fad dies down. Also this type of business is going to turn off a lot of people who are the anti-smoke/ drug types. They may look upon you as trashy and never come to your bar.

It's a great idea but you have to look toward government future policy at the national level and local level before you make your decision. Unfortunately, market forces are constantly being interfered with and we have to anticipate and react to it.

There's a lot of great opportunities out there to get started with little to no start-up cash. I'm not sure on forum rules if I can post links to articles and other sites but if your still deciding drop me a PM would be the safest bet.
    Sincerely,
