Exclamation Don't Ever Give Up On Your Goals

The number one thing you must do in order to be successful is have a goal.

It doesn't matter how well organized you are.

It doesn't matter how determined you are.

It doesn't matter how hard you work.

If you don't have a predetermined course or direction, you're simply spinning your wheels.

Goals add order and structure to your life. Goals allow you to measure your progress, to see whether or not you're improving. Psychologically, it's important to feel that you're not just standing still in your life, but moving forward toward your destination and always getting closer ansd closer.

When you attain your goals, you will feel that you've have accomplished something significant. That's because you have. Success is success. It doesn't matter how big or little it is. It's still spelled the same way. Even the tiniest of successes can motivate you and give you pride in your achievements.

On the other hand, when you don't achieve what you set out to accomplish, it can be very demoralizing and frustrating.

But that's okay. Being frustrated is all part of life. It's learning how to deal with that frustration that separates the winners from the losers.

    There's an old saying:

"Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger!"

In other words, failure isn't going to kill you. If you've got the right stuff, it's only going to strengthen your resolve. It's okay, if you don't reach your goals the first, second or even the tenth time you try.

The important thing is that you try.

And when things get too unbearable for you, which they invariably will, and you're ready to throw in the towel and give up. Just remember this quote by Michael Jordan:

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

Don't ever give up on your goals!

Have you recently achieved a personal or business goal you set for yourself? Why not share your story with the forum and help inspire someone else.

I have a goal to make money from blogging, internet and achieve financial freedom. I set an amount of money(goal) that i must make in this year. I haven't make it but I can tell you that, Dale King, you are correct, We can not give up our goals instead we must believe our goals!

We must believe that one day we are going to achieve our goal. The problem now is time matter and efforts that we put in. The more efforts we put in, the faster we can succeed.

    I agree with Dale...

The most important thing is to Do what you love. If you do what you love it shouldn't matter HOW MUCH money you are making as long as you enjoy it. Usually when this happens and you take pride in what you do, that is when you will make money.

Plan and simple -- Do what you love and the money will follow!

LOL Jordan played in thousands of games. he missed 26 game winning shots.

I always love stats in context, but i'd rather hear Rick Ankiel. I blew up in the playoffs, sucked as a pitcher, came out after 3 years of minor leagues, and hit 3 home runs in like 4 games switching to an outfielder from a pitcher.

That being said, Dale is right. Don't give up, be determined. Sometimes just a little more perserverance than you had, and you'd hit gold.
