Donald Trump@ Wealth Expo Chi> Worst Speech ever!
I’m sorry to be so negative but I was at the Real estate wealth expo over the weekend and I was really excited to see Donald Trump. I have to say he is the worst speaker I have ever heard, seriously. For a person to speak on wealth and get paid $15,000 a minute was the biggest scam to date.
The whole speech was utter fluff, just b.s. to get through the hour and a half. He started off by saying he would teach us what he could on making money. Great, exactly what we were all here for right? Oh no I believe he spoke about everything but making money.
Let me point out the topics of his speech
1. Get a prenup.
2. People are stupid
• Charles Branson
• Mark Cuban (just to name a few)
3. The Bears score
4. People are always trying to get in your pockets.
5. About 5 different stories of people that are stupid.
6. The apprentice is a huge success. (really? Good for you.)
7. Gave out a number for people to buy condos in the new trump building in downtown Chicago.
8. He has made a lot of money in down times with no other explanation of this.
9. Does not wear a hair piece.
10. Did I mention people are stupid?
11. This is the best” Quitters never win and winners never quit”, (Brilliant!)
12. It all comes down to luck, some people are just lucky and that’s that. (I never knew)
13. He was bankrupt seven years ago, and the way he got out of it was that he found more investors.
14. You should know when to stop,( So all the old people there are S.O.L and should stop wasting money)
15. Know yourself!
16. Never quit.
17. You have to love what you do!
18. Some people are weak.
All these topics were stories on his life with no education behind it. What? Here’s a guy that is the almighty Donald Trump, mind you making a million dollars for a hour and a half, and couldn’t teach me a thing about creating wealth. What a joke.
A word of wisdom this expo was a scam! Let me explain, it was 100 different speakers all trying to sell you their program on real estate. Some speakers even taught me a little before trying to sell me their system, wow! While others just bullshited a hour and a half to sell their program. These programs were anywhere between $700 and $13,000. So I basically spent 100 dollars to get a sales pitch by 30 different so called Experts. The learning Annex banked bottom line. Don’t spend your money unless you want to buy a 3 am infomercial on real estate.
Thank god for Anthony Robbins, I have to say he is an unbelievable presenter and a class act. It was worth it to me just to have the pleasure of seeing and hearing such a incredible man. His closing pitch was for everyone to buy a thanksgiving dinner to those less fortunate. We could all learn from such people. As for the evil of the rest of them I hope they get what they deserve in life.
Sorry for the negativity but I had to vent off some anger!
Thanks for listening
Adam

Why am I not suprised?
His passion is money and it shows.
Robbins loves to help people and that shows.

What can you expect? You aren't going to find success by going to seminars and bs events like this. It is self promotion, that is all it ever is. There is no secret, or scientific formula for financial success. I think if that is what you are looking for, you need to work more on what success means to you. Money isn't always the answer and Trump isn't either. Sure he made a lot of money, but he's an ego maniac and a terrible businessman. His model might work in New York City, and he may have done well, but just because he is rich doesn't make him a good businessman. See with me, a good businessman understands his clients and customers, and respects his employees like they are his own family. I'm not going to get far into this because I really dislike the donald, but what I'm trying to say is that you won't learn how to be rich from a success, you are going to learn how to get rich, and BE a success from your failures. You know, a lot of people ask me why I have worked all of these jobs while still being a business owner. I've worked good jobs, bad jobs, and jobs I shouldn't be in but only to further my understanding of what works and what doesn't. I didn't go to the successful business's and study them and determine that if I do what they do I will be successful, but I went and worked and still work for mediocre ones to figure out what they are doing wrong, how I can avoid and learn from that and grow.
Moral of the story, you will learn better from your/other's failures.

Wealth Expo
I believe that the author "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," was there. How was he? Did he teach anything profound?

Donald Trump doesn't know anything about creating wealth, just inheriting it and using his fame to steal it from others.

Wow! that was some great piece of advise...I am glad there are honest people still out there like you...You're right ...success comes from learing from your failures and not from your successes.
What kind of business are you in?

Co-Owner of DKAHost http://www.dkahost.com
Did importing/exporting for a few years, got bored with that. I run an online book selling business on Amazon now. I also do free lance carpentry, construction/fine wood work and I'm trying to get started with a custom furniture business, but with the limited time we will see where that goes, but that is my absolute passion, to work with my hands and with expensive lumber. DKAHost occupies most of my time, as customers need us nearly round the clock, and I pay close attention to every account and how good of service they experience.
What I tried to show above is although I'm in ventures, I also haven't found my asbolute niche yet, and most won't until they fail a LOT at what they have already tried. My niche could be with wood working, and one day you could see Sheldon Fine Furniture advertised everywhere... it is an ongoing experience. Some day soon I will find my hole, and go big, very quick with it, and take anyone and everyone who has ever believed in me and my ideas with me.
But, that is just the cliff notes version.

A seminar in which experts would share the knowledge they've acquired over time. That's perfectly reasonable. If that's what DoneDeals was looking for, I don't blame him. That's what they should have presented, and according to him, they've failed. His words are certainly credible.
He wasn't expecting to become succesful simply because he was there, but he did expect them to share their knowledge.
DoneDeals, I am sorry that you did not get what you were looking for, but I will tell you something. Most of the time, the truly rich know something about making money, but they know nothing about how to explain the process of making money.
We all know Trump is extremely succesful and it's not because of luck, but because he knows what he is doing. What we also know is that he's terrible at making presentations on gaining wealth and becomming successful. It's unfortunate you didn't come to know of this beforehand.
