My name is Jeremy and I represent Sofidae. I'm new on this board so I wanted to introduce myself and the products our company offers. We are a web development company located in Los Angeles and have been at this for almost 3 years. Usually we work as "back-end" programmers (ie: travel booking engines, accounting systems, etc.) on contract for medium sized companies and after a while realized that there is a need for smaller businesses to get a professional site with all the tools they need to manage their presence. We researched what options these smaller businesses have, and realized most are paying per page fees for templates that are slightly altered for their business. On top of this, they are being charged per change of text/image which adds up quick. In the end, we noticed that most of the people that have these static sites end up never changing their content which makes the point of their website pretty useless after a few months. So, we decided to make a change by offering the best of both worlds: a custom design with easy to use management tools; we got to coding and guess what, finally done!!!
We are offering our Webacus Content Management System to any small business out there for a great price. Basically you can manage your own website using our product which includes a custom design based on your requirements. As we had to make a lot of special server adjustments, we are only offering this as a hosted product (for now).
