what group is it out of curiosity?
and no, probably not worth anything, big sites like that are very common, and i don't think any of us really pay attention to ads and such on there. if anything it will cause people to leave the group i'd think, but it definately depends on the nature of the group.
I seriusly wonder when these websites will pop because of the users abusing the system to advertise

Hi,
Of course your list is worth something, depending on a few factors:
Did each of these people opt in to your own personal list?
Why? What are they there for? What are their interests? What do they need solutions for? If you don't know, then you can survey them to find out. Then provide something for them which they already told you they wanted, and you got a winner product with a responsive list.
Good luck with them!

In Theory Yes! However, this will depend on your group. Also it will depend on the terms and conditions of facebook!
You can always charge to do bulletins because you claim to have 350k members and 20k joining a day so that will be worth something to internet marketers especially as they pay for myspace bulletins all the time.
MYiParty.com - post a link to your facebook, perhaps give some demographics, or common interests of the group, and maybe some of us would be interested in testing some advertising. I'm not sure what the rules are on those sites, are you able to post a banner, send out a mass commercial email, etc? What are the options for advertising?
Sincerely,

i cannot send mass messages they disabled that option since the group got so big, but i can still post ads all over the site, it has around 1000 people posting per sec
With a site like this the ads are going to have little impact, if any. But since it's free anyway, why not do some testing. Put up an ad to give something away free that the people who go there would jump on. Then use a link to a tracker and see how many clicks you get. Then on the target page, use another tracking link to see how many take the next step.Originally Posted by MYiParty.com

I do not know of a Facebook group growing that fast....can you share the name? Perhaps I've overlooked it.
there are some groups that grow very quickly, up until a point. that Brody Ruckus Threesome group shot up fast for example. but you have to realize that once people see it littered with ads they will leave.
You are forgetting the fact that you yourself add absolutely no value to this idea. Posting and Joining a group has no dependence on whether you are the creator or not unless the group is private. Which means advertisers will choose among the thousands of other groups which they can enter for free and post a link if they really want to. Also, why would people pay for an advertisment on one single group homepage which member rarely go back to once joining when facebook charges $5 to advertise on the homepage. Third, if you think Facebook is going to let you earn income via exploiting THEIR customers you are wrong. Finally, click advertising is proving to be so worthless because less than 10% of people who click actually buy. Facebook is a good medium to pick up customers, unfortunately it is not a good place to become a marketing/ad rep. I dont mean to sound offensive but you must understand your cometing the attractiveness to a limited customer base within a facebook group to the overall customer base the site offers. But this doesnt mean you cant make 1000000 dollars off of it because I am 1 person its just an opinion.
