consultants can offer that information, I am sure if you google business services you will get a ton of hits.

Market research companies maybe? I'm pretty sure thats included in their line of work.

This sounds like "competitive intelligence", which I believe is popular in the banking industry.

Competitor analysis has been around for a really long time now. Different consultants specialize in different kind of data of competitors. Maybe there could be still certain information which is still not covered by competitor analysis companies.
