Does anyone own real estate in China, India, Mexico or Brazil?

Hi, does anyone own real estate in China, India, Mexico or Brazil?

And if you have a loan on those properties, did you receive the loan in America or in that country and how hard was it to receive the loan.

Also, I believe countries like China allow one property per foreigner or is there way to invest in multiple properties? I guess the way to invest in multiple properties would be just paying cash.

Thanks for the help.

I have a friend who lives in Japan and just bought a duplex. He was born and raised in US and has been living there for over 10 years now. He got a loan from a Japanese bank. He had no trouble getting a loan, but he also lives and works there, and is fluent in the language.

Don't know if this helps you at all, but thoght I would pass it along.
