    Does anyone have a real business here

    as above, does anyone have a genuine business, not just some poor website generating less income in a year than you would in a day working for someone else

    Right now I'm a manager of a Computer Retail/lan center. I'm saving up my money and invest pretty much all of it into my business. I'm starting a Modeling Agency in Feb.

    Ive read the above thread as well and am getting curious as to what people actually think a business is. What exactly do you consider a business? Can an internet site only be considered a business if it sells a product?

    The resaon I ask is because it sounds like is specifically saying that a website ain't a real business - you do know that offline businesses dont always turn a profit?

    Anything that generates recurring revenue I would consider an actual business.

    I'm in the process of working on my startup...behind schedule which is probably no suprise to anyone that's been there. It's a magazine funded through ad dollars so no big surprise that everyone is taking the "wait and see" attitude before paying to run ads with us. It's frustrating but I'm in it for the long haul. I've got too much of my own time and money invested not to see it through to fruition.
