Do you use adsense?

i am seeking help on how to use adsense. i dont have a url but i am interested about how it works and what you guys think of it. what is your reason for using it and is it worth it?

i use it to monetize one site in particular that makes about $1-2 dollars a day, and then have it on a few other websites that maybe make me an extra 50cents a day. nothing special at the moment.

I do, my second week has made me $40.00!

I don't wanna get into how adsense actually works (in detail), but I will tell you what NOT to do when you do get an account.

Well for the most part, adsense is an advertising programs that websites use on a PPC basis (pay-per click). It is what it says, when someone happens to click on your ad, YOU make money. Usually anywhere between .40-.70 cents, possibly higher.

Now, on what you cannot do.

You may think, well im making money getting my ads clicked, why don't I have friends and family join in on this venture. TERRIBLE IDEA. Google adsense is a GREAT way to monetize a site. Once you get kicked off google adsense, your off for good. Google tracks IP addresses, so if Uncle Joe decides he wants to help out his favorite nephew and click the shit outta one of your adds, google will see this. Now your account is SCREAMING click fraud. Its not something you can go to jail over, but its really not worth losing your adsense privleges.

So, what you can take from this

Don't Have your friends click on your ads
Dont' Have your family click on your ads
and most of all

dONT CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADS.

Focus on building a site which is busy and then once you have that you can start looking at adsense

Adsense does not cost anything..

If you are serious about Adsense buy the book "The Adsense Code". This book helped me go from $2 a month to $40 a week.
