Do you think the Health and Wellness industry will continue to become more popular?

For the past couple years, the Health and Wellness industry has exploded in America. Do you think the end is near, or it is only getting started?

In my opinion its still growing in all areas because of things like technology and jobs, but soon it'll become very over saturated.

It's a sure fire bet. America is obsessed with body image and "wellness" in a way that effectively amounts to trying to achieve immortality. It's pathological, and if you can find a way to tap into this, you're made.

I agree also, I've also noticed various trends emerge in this sector sometimes out of nowhere. Ie Vitamin water, eating all organic foods, and so much more. Staying on top of them can be tricky, especially in markets like the US where consumers have so much choice its like playing musical chairs on which products are in high demand.

I think one thing you need to consider is the rate of population growth. The worlds population was about 1Billion around the 1800's.. in just 200yrs or so its grown exponentially to almost 7Billion today.. 200yrs is a very short time in the overall history of human existence.

People are living longer and our population is continuing to grow. Access to health and wellness will always be a good business. Some countries such as the US where the average family size has gone down with more women working now day's and other factors has put a slow down on population growth, but we're still growing.

I think you might want to go where populations are booming around the world. I would imagine it would be poorer countries where the population is growing significantly, and there will be more demand for health and wellness products for the fact health care is hard to come by in these countries. Health and Wellness products can help bridge the gap for low income consumers by selling low cost proactive healthy solutions as opposed to having to pay for a reactive health solution which is usually expensive, ie: heart bypass surgery.

Health and wellness industry will continue to grow as long as insurance rates continue to climb. Companies are flocking to the wellness industry as a means to keep their health benefits costs down.

It's part of human behavior to want to feel and look better, one of those goals everyone strives for and is willing to SPEND money in order to reach it.

The health and wellness industry and market is only going to get bigger and more profitable. This last post-new years sales have been going through the roof and sales conversions are really picking up this time a year in comparison to last year in our projects. (recession or not)

The fact that this industry has turned into such a profitable (and at times shady) one is the same fact that will keep it on a steady growth.
