Bigger than the internet? No. An industry that will affect our lives very soon? Definitely. It will be a huge driving force in our futures.

Luckily the infrastructure to help make sure it happens is in place. That is, the internet. The more people that get involved, the more it will become ingrained in our daily ways of life and ways of being. The internet helps us connect and stay connected, and this will be important in making sure that green revolution occurs sooner than later.

Actually at this time going green is on the down trend according to say Wholefoods that says that with the current economy people are thinking twice about green and organic. However I think after the recession we will see more of a return to green. We manufacture a green dome home and are starting to see more interest because it is environmentally friendly and also because it is affordable!

The problem with green is that it is more expensive or requires more effort. So unless you are using "green" as a marketing scheme or are a tree huger it doesnt really have mass potential. I believe the trend is new, and as more money is raised an invested the green technologies that will really take off are those that are cheaper and more convenient.

Green is great, and everyone likes to think they are saving the world, but the reality is that until it is financially beneficial for the end user, it will mostly be something that people think is a great idea.

People won't actually drop money into it unless they have a lot of money themselves or simply want to brag about how green they are.

If you have an idea that is green, cost effective, and solves an actual problem, I think you will do very well.
