Do you know your partner?

i was talking to some friends out of state about starting businesses with strangers. I was wondering how many of you guys here have partners either out of state/country.

and out of those that do how many have and never will meet them but still have a successful business?

I would not have a partner that I do not know a lot about, it needs to be someone you can trust. I dont see this happening if they are not someone you have know for awhile.

I agree, you need to trust somebody to become partners.
But trust will be under pressure as time goes by without having real contact on regular basis.

It's like a long distance marriage. Won't work too ;-)
